Socorro from a young age knew the value of hard work. Born in Los Angeles, Socorro is a first generation American who grew up watching her immigrant parents’ dedication to succeed in the U.S. After years in L.A., her family relocated to Albuquerque, NM then El Paso, TX, where they could be closer to family. Socorro began working in her parent’s restaurant, where she waitressed until she was sixteen. Socorro then put herself through college at the University of Texas, San Antonio. There, she received a degree in business administration with an emphasis on marketing and management.
After college, Socorro began working in a Tuxedo shop where she realized her love of weddings, and soon she started to pursue other wedding related jobs in both jewelry and bridal boutiques. At these places, Socorro began to increase her knowledge of the wedding industry, and in 1995, opened her own consultant business, Weddings Unlimited, in El Paso, Texas. Socorro’s dream was to make Weddings Unlimited an all encompassing venture that would enable couples to have everything wedding related at their fingertips, and at an affordable price. To help this dream become a reality, Socorro went on to get her real estate license in the state of Texas. By doing this Socorro is able to help her clients even after their wedding ceremony. Now, she can continue consulting them in their search for their first home, and has already completed one successful full event, where she planned a Quince and went on to help her family purchase their first home together.
Currently, Socorro plans approximately one wedding a month varying from 5K to 50K and works personally with the couple to help keep the budget intact, while making their dream wedding come true. Socorro hopes to assist you in all your wedding needs and real estate endeavors.
